The St. James Endowment Fund

The St. James Endowment Board actively manages the Endowment Fund, which is comprised of bequests and other estate gifts from parishioners. The Board works with an investment manager and ensures that the Endowment Fund performs well against external financial benchmarks.

In 2024, $53,000 was available from the St. James Endowment to support ministry needs including outreach awards to the Dioceses of Jerusalem and Cuba, the Food Connection truck, and a Feed the Kids Storage Unit. Ministry awards were made for purchasing Enriching Our Worship texts for the pews and lighting used primarily by the St. James Players. Capital improvements included Stairs to the Community Garden and repairs to the Sanctuary Garden parking lot.
